Senior Android Developer

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge Android apps. Here's what we're looking for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Native Android App Development: Proficiency in developing native Android apps using Kotlin while adhering to industry best development practices.
- Internationalization: Ensure the internationalization of applications to cater to various markets and regions.
- Utilization of Key Technologies: Expertise in integrating and utilizing key Android technologies, including Android Architecture Components, Firebase/Firestore, REST APIs, Google Play In-App Purchase, and Subscriptions.
- UI Implementation: Implement Figma design templates into XML-based layouts and/or Compose UI for a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Build and Release: Manage image handling, testing, and release processes using Gradle and CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitrise, or similar platforms.
- App Monitoring and Analytics: Conduct app monitoring and leverage tools such as Crashlytics and Google Analytics to ensure application stability and performance.
Desired Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills would be a significant plus:
- Bluetooth Expertise: Experience with the Android Bluetooth stack (Classic and BLE) for developing Bluetooth functionalities in Android applications.
- Media Framework Knowledge: Understanding of Android Media Frameworks, particularly audio and video encoding.
- Cross-Platform Development: Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like Kotlin Multiplatform or Flutter for creating cross-platform solutions.

The payment is based on the collectively agreed minimum wage and amounts to at least €1,762.10 gross. Depending on prior experience, level of expertise, and position, we are, of course, willing to pay more.
